The one workplace training I dont miss from my edtech days in my big company? Microaggressions. Good grief, it was the most painful and absurdly stupid training ever. Like, absolutely anything you say, do or write could be construed as “micro-aggression” by another colleague with possibility of making your life hell (I never faced it, but so many ppl had in the company). It was to a point where every single conversation had to be so measured and so prim-n-proper that it was fucking annoying. Dont get me wrong, and microaggression has its place but good grief it was taken to another extreme in these new companies. Like just focus on your job and get out!
