Our extended springy fall continues! No complaints whatsoever.

    Old Dads, 2023 - ★★★

Was hoping it would be far funnier than what it was.

As if on cue lol cc: @parag

Cirque de soleil runs a resident show here in Tysons every summer to early fall. They change their shows every year and we finally caught Echo this year which was well reviewed. The show was well worth every penny and was definitely one of the best ones we’ve seen in a while. A few shots from the show.

    Polite Society, 2023 - ★

Couldn't even get past half of this movie. Sadly the movie begins so well but it just becomes more and more mediocre as it progresses.

    Old, 2021 - ★★★★

This was a perfect Airline movie; There was something creepy about it and I actually liked the way Shyamalan shot it.

    Knock at the Cabin, 2023 - ★★★

This was campy fun. Never gets too serious and not bad either.

    Triangle of Sadness, 2022 - ★

Absolute crap movie. Starts off slightly funny but that whole ship sequence and later is crap, literally.

    Huh

    Good morning Seattle!

    Through the glass pane.

The tonal contrast in these rock formations is very striking. I believe this is mosaic canyon at death valley national park, though I could be wrong. Its been 10 years since we went there.

Ok, so what is it then?

Whats your favorite beverage and why is it chai?

This morning when I was trying to find a picture for today’s theme, I ran into an old picture I took at Fort Bragg / Mendocino coast in 2012. Funny thing is there is another photo that is my favorite from this trip, and I seem to have somehow missed even developing/editing this pic. Now that I found this pic in archives I am like wow where the hell was this picture hiding in my archives. I love silhouettes and I particularly like this one a lot now…. maybe more than the one I think is my favorite! Open image in another tab to see larger size.

A day in the life of a family. I hope they were not homeless.

The makeshift road through my FIL’s Areca nut plantation.

Careful! Don’t fall into the upside down capturing fall
