Americans love to bring misery to themselves. At a birthday party one parent goes how disruptive their daughters swim team practice schedule is - they have to be out by 3pm to fetch one daughter and take her to swim practice by 4:30 while the other daughter comes home at 4:15 pm and she needs to be at swim practice. And both husband wife basically get nothing done at work starting 3 and they need to work post dinner and then they also do ballet and basketball on weekend and all.
And I’m like, there’s a good enough swim team that practices like 5 mins from your place! Why the F are you driving 30 mins in traffic here and there only for a slightly “better” swim team and making your life so miserable! Beats me!
