Last night we celebrated doggo’s bday and last getogether at our current home with our close friends. Much fun was had, and all of us are going to miss our home. This house has seen more parties than anywhere else in our group, and has always been sort of people magnet type of house. Even outside of regular getogether and parties, almost everyone in my extended family - be it immediate family, cousins from India and US, all my mom’s sisters and their families from India - everyone of them have stayed at this house (& some multiple times). This house saw multiple pregnancy announcements made within our group, has seen a few folks drift away and more. When DC snowmageddon knocked out power everywhere, ours was the only place that maintained power - which resulted in a 4 day party with all our families staying with us. Through multiple water leaks, breakages, construction galore and more, we have lived through it to enjoy it more & more. The first time we walked into this house when visiting with realtor, we knew immediately this was the one, and it will always be as our first house in life! Gonna miss this place as much as I am looking forward to living at the new house.
