Yesterday the vice president of the HOA came by our house to officially “welcome” us to the neighborhood. We got a basked of raisin bread and assorted goodies. But the most interesting part other than all the banal omg we do so much in community was the pamphlet that she gave us about the history of the community. So apparently the community is built on a former plantation and has a rather rich history. I was like umm, yeah I am glad that the plantation was burned down.
