The amount of people virtue signaling on LinkedIn regarding industry layoffs is kinda nauesating. Yeah, you don’t need to post a long winded message about how pained you are by other people who were laid off, and how you can be their trusted resource to lean on, connect, coach, recommend and more. Like boss, if you truly care, reach out directly to the people who you know are impacted and help? Its not like any one person has capacity to help hundreds. You can help one or two, maybe focus on that? This LinkedIn karma point game has to stop.
