I find headlines like “history will not look kindly…” or “history will judge someone…” extreme cop out and useless. Does anyone think Hitler really cared how history is judging him now? Fuck no. He did what he wanted to do when he was alive and caused immense tragedy. You wanna learn from history then prevent it from happening, not parrot how history is going to remember something.
