In our excitement of burning the last log for the season last night I completely forgot openining the chimney vent before lighting the log. Was a good test of all smoke alarms in the house that did their jobs very well 😂. Also quick light logs for the win! They never really get too hot and easy to put out with water. Lessons learned I guess!
