My 2024 election hot take is democrats are severely over estimating abortion as a core issue. Cities and largely democratic states already maybe, but I do not think its as big an issue democrats think it is. Maybe it’s enough to win back presidency, but really irrelevant if states races don’t go democrat way. For example Virginia - if democrats don’t keep either house and lose governorship again because our democrats found weather too hot to vote that day, VA will also suck up and have restrictive abortion laws, guaranteed.
