Except Pakistan I don’t think any country had any specific advantage of playing in India this world cup to be honest. Sure, India has home field advantage but a majority of the international players in world cup play in IPL matches every year, so they must know the Indian conditions in and out by now. There is not much that to me stands out that gives India such a upper hand in this world cup. All this to say, which is why India’s domination in this world cup (SO FAR) has been unlike something most of us desis are used to.
